Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans are both available for Manchester United despite being substituted against Manchester City because of injuries but youngster Omari Forson is absent.

Rasmus Hojlund, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire again miss out but could feature versus Liverpool next weekend.

Everton boss Sean Dyche says Idrissa Gueye is “unlikely” to return from a groin injury for this match.

However, Dyche did not completely rule out the midfielder.

This game comes too soon for Arnaut Danjuma, while Dele Alli is also still sidelined.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

Manchester United are vying for a 41st Premier League victory against Everton, which would be an outright record for the most wins by one club against another in the division.
The Toffees have only won two of their 31 Premier League matches at Old Trafford (D8, L21), the most recent of which was by 1-0 in December 2013 courtesy of Bryan Oviedo’s goal.
The Red Devils drew three consecutive top-flight home games against Everton before beating them 2-0 last season.
Manchester United

United have been beaten in 16 of their 38 league and cup matches this season – they have not lost more fixtures in a single campaign since accumulating 17 defeats in 1989-90.
They are at risk of losing three consecutive league games for the first time under Erik ten Hag, while a 12th Premier League defeat of 2023-24 would equal the club record set in 2013-14 and 2021-22.
The Red Devils have faced 444 Premier League shots this term, a figure exceeded by only Sheffield United and West Ham.
United’s average of 16.4 shots faced per game is their highest in a league season since such data was first recorded in 2003-04.
Ten Hag has won all four of his matches as a manager against Everton in all competitions.
Marcus Rashford has scored twice in 17 appearances versus the Toffees. Both were penalties, including one in November’s 3-0 win at Goodison Park.
Everton

The Toffees’ winless run of 10 Premier League games (D5, L5) is the joint longest by any club this season and two short of the club record set in 1994.
Everton are winless in each of their nine top-flight matches this season against teams currently in the top six (D2, L7), losing all four away games.
They did not concede a headed goal in any of their opening 25 league fixtures this term but have done so in each of their past two matches.
Sean Dyche’s only win in 16 Premier League matches as a manager against Manchester United was Burnley’s 2-0 victory at Old Trafford in January 2020 (D5, L10).
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has gone 21 appearances without a goal in all competitions, including 19 starts, since his winner at West Ham in October.
