Two of El Real’s four goals were scored by their opponents’ suicides, while the other two goals were scored by Vinicius JR and Arda Guler.
Based on the official La Liga website, the additional three points make Madrid stronger at the top of the standings with 69 points from 28 matches, seven points ahead of Girona in second place. Meanwhile, Celta is in 17th place with 24 points.
Madrid had a chance in the 3rd minute when Eduardo Camavinga got the ball on the edge of the penalty box and fired a curling shot that forced Vicente Guaita into a save.
Camavinga created another chance four minutes later when he headed in Luka Modric’s cross, but Guaita palmed it away.
