A good coach and a good system will make average players good. A bad coach and a bad system will make good players flop.
Often when I watch the Black Stars, the term "low IQ footballers" keeps ringing in my mind. Instead of making a good surging pass, a low IQ football will rather pass the ball back, give a meaningless sideways pass or needlessly hog the ball. It is so frustrating watching some of these players and then you watch other teams and they are playing fluid football. Inaki is an elite player, put him in the Morocco or Senegal team and will be scoring for fun.
Oh, and Kudus too has to learn to be a playmaker, especially in a Ghana shirt. Some aspects of his game can be frustrating, (unnecessary turns, too much dribbling, (it hampers our attacking play). Dribble one two and pass. If he does this, our strikers certainly can benefit.
One player I am looking forward to is Amankwa Forson, he is exactly the kind of player Inaki will enjoy playing with, he is such a brilliant playmaker.
