      The only way it works is if Mayfield is #3 on the depth chart until he learns the system. I don't think he would like that, and I don't think it would help the chemistry of the team, as everyone would be waiting for an axe to fall on the rotation.

      Purdy is actually better for the 9ers than even Jimmy G. There were at least 3 plays where Purdy quick released to the hot receiver in time for a catch. If it was Jimmy G, it would have been a sack or worse an interception. Purdy can grow into a better QB with some in game reps. Mayfield, has zero confidence after all these losses. Mayfield has the worst quarterback rating this season than any QB since they started collecting that stat. Stick with Purdy until Jimmy G comes back or he grows into the position. Purdy might do to Jimmy G what Cooper Rush did to Dak, remind them that if you play into and for a system, good things will happen.

      Nick is correct that quarterback wins should not a stat because the starting quarterback is given the credit for the win even though he might not finish the game and “win it for the team.“

      It is so weird that Nick, a Baker Mayfield basher, is actually advocating for San Francisco to take him. Although Baker is in Los Angeles now, Nick is pretty much implying what I have been trying to say for a bunch of Jimmy G bashes: Kyle Shanahan is 9–21 without Jimmy G ever since Jimmy G started in San Francisco.

      The average NFL Qb's career is 4 and a half years if you're gonna roast a man's NFL journey of 15 years not one of them can say they've completed a pass in the NFL. Not saying Josh Johnson is the 49ers answer but making a career out of being a journeyman in the shadow of his cousin/BFF Marshawn Lynch he must have something Nfl teams want. I was under the impression as people in sports media there is a level of respect and appreciation no matter what a players record is. In the words of Warren Sapp the first things first boys think it's so easy "Put a Jersey on!"

      😂🤣😂🤣 Baker went from one sh!tty team to another one that has sat all it's good players..nice try Baker trying to get to a potential superbowl team I'm glad it didn't work out for you 😂🤣😂🤣

      6 td and 6 interceptions with the bonus of 59.7 % completion. It makes more sense to have him play for Dallas with his over valued talent and personality

      NFL owners should want more teams like the 49ers to win. As an owner you don't want to tie up such a big % of your cap space on one player.

      Ask the Broncos, ask the Packers, ask the Cards… Team shackled by one player
