  1. I think the main issue is our fitness and medical staff not being the best of the best, biggest proof for this is Dembele who is injury free at PSG for the first time ever, this is why I want Flick as he is the only coach who said that he wants to bring his own staff which is very much needed

  2. Ansu Fati and Pedri: two promising young players who have been handled so badly by the club.
Pedri played too many games at a young age with Barca and the Spanish national team.

I just hope that Gavi recovers from his injury and remains healthy throughout his career.

Yamal is another promising young player who's come up at Barca. Let's hope that the club takes good care of him.

  3. Imagine telling people that the next midfield great in football is being plagued with injuries, because both his club and national team overplayed him at such a young age. He's one of the best midfielders I've ever seen and to say that about a 21 year old it tells you how good Pedri is when healthy. His combination of intelligence silky skills technique dribbling and passing, he reminds me of a La Masia player even though he came from Las Palmas. When I first saw him play in his breakthrough season at Barcelona, his profile reminded me of Andres Iniesta and after Xavi and Iniesta left, they found a midfielder that actually fitted their DNA. With him, Spain produced yet another technically gifted midfielder and it's just football heritage (Andres Iniesta Xavi David Silva Sergio Busquets Thiago Alcantara Isco) and now Pedri. He's one of the best midfielders in the world and his game has always passed the eye test and the football world we live in today, we only look at G/A, how many goals and assists they have and people can bring up his lack of assists, when you watch him play, "he doesn't dominate the stat sheet", he makes football look so easy. He had the world at his feet especially after he won Young Player of the Tournament at the EUROs, was nominated for the Ballon Dor and won the Golden Boy for being the best young player in the world in 2021 and he was touted as a future Ballon Dor winner. However, his progress has been stalled due to recurring injuries and right now he can't catch a break or stay fit for at least 2-3 months in a row, Since that season where he played a staggering total of 73 games, you take away COVID, with his latest injury, Pedri has picked up 8 injuries since the 2021/22 season and he's still only 21 years old. After the EUROs, when he was called up for his national team again for the Olympics, Barcelona tried to block him from going because of how much football he played and they themselves have a responsibility to take for barely giving him a rest and I don't blame him for that because he was so good and this has become detrimental to his career in the long run.

In the last 3 seasons, he's spending more time on the sidelines than on the field. We all know the situation, but it raises the question marks on "why Pedri keeps getting injured". With Pedri's recurring injuries after playing 73 games in a season at the age of 18 and Gavi picking up an ACL injury on international break as season was cut short when Spain played in a game in which he should've been rested, in recent months, the topic of debate has been about the workload of young players and are they being asked to do too much too soon for club and country. Lamine Yamal is a rising star, one of the best players to come out of La Masia and it's crazy to me how a 16 year old can be that good, but the thing with him as that Barcelona need to avoid letting history repeat itself with him same thing with Spain given their poor track record in managing teenagers. I don't think Barcelona should sell Pedri, absolutely not, but they're going to monitor his situation and take action especially if his injury woes show no signs of slowing down. In a season, you can't fully rely on him as you don't know how many games he's fit enough to play and you don't want to go into next season where you can depend on him to play every game. He's so important to the way Barcelona play, because they have technical midfielders, but on the ball they don't replicate what he does and what hasn't helped is that he's rushed back from injury, doesn't look 100% fit and then he gets injured again. As we speak, he's out for a month and if I was Barcelona, depending on what competitions they're still in if they're out of the champions league by that time and the gap between them and Real Madrid continues to inflate, they should rest him and for the Spain national team as important as the EUROs is, for his long term development in the short term, making sure that Pedri is healthy fully is the number one priority for Barcelona and Spain not whether he's going to finish the season or represent his country at the EUROs. Even the player can understand given his injury history and the need for him to have full match sharpness as he hasn't kicked a ball in the last 18 months and he isn't quite at full fitness since he hasn't even played a lot this season as he's been plagued with injuries again. That season where he played 73 games at 18 affected him forever and from a talent perspective, I think his ceiling is so high and he's an elite midfielder, but in terms of his career, the niggling injuries aren't helping and if this continues he won't have longevity and will be unable to fulfill his true potential and his situation isn't good for football because someone who's this good with loads of potential has been getting injured a lot with the amount of minutes he has gotten at this stage of his career and there's concerns that players are playing too many games and with the issues Pedri and Gavi have had, let's hope that Barcelona and Spain takes care of Lamine Yamal.

  4. pedri is magical man
i still remember how he came back from his injury late 2023 and instantly changed the pace of the midfield and won us that game
those body feints turns dribbles and that crazy ability to produce magic out of nowhere don't just fade away… if you see his underlying numbers and charts he is performing as well as musiala and bellingham even tho he doesn't hog the ball
if we sell pedri i will genuinely lose alot of the love i have for this club

  5. All the injury ridden players and general injury problems Barca has have to be due to lack of gym work, questionable medical staff, and overplaying players which you could then argue is because of all the injuries. This team needs a complete coaching and ideal overhaul. Technicality is important but in modern football you need physicality just as much.

  6. Pedri's problem is from Barca's Physio/medical team…

A good team would have foresaw this and report this to the coach, so he doesn't get played too much…

  7. No way people actually say that we should sell pedri, no matter how many times he gets injured we cant give up on him because we all know his potential just like in your example if gundo's club gave up on him just image

  8. messi had a lot of injury problems from 2006 to 2008 plus having 3 injuries in 2006 two being 80 days long. So i think with the right medical team pedri can make a comeback

  9. hes just been playing too much and getting way to many minutes and his recovery hasnt been the best with barcelona making him play a lot he needs to recover better after games

  10. Bro Pedri and Fati are only 21. I don’t understand why some ā€œfansā€ just wanna give up on them and sell them. You know how many injuries Messi had early on in his career? Yes they are more fragile than other players, but we just have to have a very specific fitness/training plan for them. I honestly don’t know how Barca aren’t looking for a new medical staff. It’s always the same injuries that occur at our club. Always hamstring/ quad injuries. Dembele would always get muscle injuries at Barca, but now that he left he hasn’t gotten injured at all.

  11. Pedri is way too overrated…. people act like he is Modric or something… he is bang average good player but Barca needs a World class midfielder to compete again against Madrid and in the CL… Pedri Gavi aren't good enough.

  12. Barcelona’s medical staff is also just not good enough. Dembele since moving to PSG has not sustained an injury yet. It’s been an issue for a lot of Barca players, and Ansu has been a casualty of that.

  13. Needing a better medically/training team is absolutely clear now, many are injured
They can not give up on pedri untill then and after he play in a better role(not a wing) and have a player to rotate with him and yes i was also thinking of fermin to help him too
We desperately neeeeedddd a good coach 😭😭😭😭
I hope gavi will return well
