Reading back on many reactions and comments when Wataru Endo when he signed for Liverpool, I am so happy that I stuck my neck out on the line to give people real insight into the player and the man we were getting! and my goodness, he has repaid my faith in him and more! He had a landmark game in the cup final. Literally put his body on the line for 120 minutes. Kept running when the likes of Diaz had stopped. Didn't complain. Suffered in silence! Quietly limping home on crutches and a cast. What a man. A Red samurai to be proud of. YNWA!
I still think Sofyan Amrabat is a decent player, just not at manchester United, but Wataru Endo is something special. he takes no prisoners, there is a reason he wears a mouthguard when he plays, I don't think I've seen another footballer do this, boxers do it. I think Endo has an ankle injury right now and the return date is unknown according to Sky Sports. Not sure if that is true or not.

It took him a few weeks to accommodate, but since then Endo is one of the most stable player in front of the defensive four…..I predict that by the end of the season he will compete with Virgil for the MVP of the team!…Yes, he is that good, and we, reds fans, hope that he will continue his OUTSTANDING performances and win the best player award for the reds!! ….congrats for this outstanding video!

Hello there new subscriber this is my second video that I watch from you, I for one was excited to see Endo, Joy Liverpool, after seeing the progression of the Japanese national team, and their performance in this last World Cup, seeing him get signed to the squad was very exciting and I was a bit upset about all the negativity around them from some of the fans, but that’s to be expected, I’m glad that he’s prove everybody wrong. He’s been an amazing signing for the club and I’m looking to see what happens in the future.
Some people here did have doubts about Endo initially, not least because he was seen as a bit of a panic buy after losing out on Caicedo and Lavia. It took him a couple of months to adjust to the pace and intensity of the Premier League, but his recent performances have been top class. Exactly the kind of player Liverpool needed because their attacking style can leave gaps at the back. He’s solid and reliable and makes some telling passes. Liverpool fans love to see energy and determination in their players, which Endo has in abundance. A bargain buy, very popular member of the team. A great bargain buy!👍
To your credit, I remember watching this and thought this gave me something to hold on to as I weren't particularly impressed but very happy I was proven wrong!
@liverpooljapan, which city did you study in the UK, manchester or london and why did Endo choose LFC besides winning trophies?
I didn't hold negative opinions on Endo when we signed him since either ways we needed squad depth with the Europa League. However his debut against Newcastle away convinced me we made the right signing. Within 72 hours of his signing, he played like he knew everyone on the pitch especially with Van Dijk being sent off. My Japanese colleague asked me what I thought of him and I told him that he's our best signing this season.
felt let down when we first confirmed a dm for £16m ..didnt know anything about him… after his first 3 games i could tell i was wrong.. then after the 2nd arsenal game i realised he was legit and needed to be one of the first names on the team sheet moving forward..endos forward passes the between the lines are better than most dms out there.. endo the midfield machine..
