Lukaku will not be awarded the same space in the PL that he’s given in Serie A. Haaland should be our only concern. Not even trying to bid for him. I understand it’s expensive but, we buy Lukaku now and lose Haaland to anyone else next season just cause we’re rushing for a striker.. Why do our transfer windows suck ass after major trophies..

It’s just a thought, but I really rate Danny Ings. He’s a natural finisher, which is what Chelsea need, and is also in the last year of his contract so he’d be massively cheaper than the other options. Idk why, but the lukaku deal just doesn’t feel right. I mean I’m just a fan and there’s a reason im not the one signing the papers but I hope it works out. 🙂

🤔 umm. Hmm….. well it is what it is. Like George was eluding to, the stars just didn’t line up for Haaland. To be honest I would be excited to have Lukaku as he would be a great addition for us and to challenge for the Premiere title. I trust that the Board and Tuchel know what they need and so good with the cash that is their business. It’s not official and it’s a cliff hanger as Lukaku has the final word and willing to do this despite the money.

long term. this signing is soooooooo sketchy. i have way too many doubts about him. his age, his price, his history with united and chelsea, the fact that this signing puts the final nail in the haaland coffin. big picture, harry kane and grealish to city, varane and sancho to united and im 99% sure theyll get haaland cause of his relationship with sancho and their manager. we are looking at the very real posibillity that signing lukaku will kick us in the ass after this season. we are literally gifting haaland to a prem rival assuming madrid and barca remain in financial chaos. I also wonder how he will fit into a free flowing and passing orientated front 3? is his passing good enough in tight spaces? will her be a pure target man? will he be able to boss prem styled defenders like he does in italy? I have to say, this signing could be a huge mistake thats forced on us through bad timing and werner not cutting it

The guy is not a too class striker … his control is terrible and I’m afraid his reading of the game in terms of positional sense as a striker .. ie runs/ where to be is limited ! He’s a league 1/2 striker … that’s it ! As a Chelsea fan who grew up on osgood , maybank, and latterly the likes of vialli , drogba hugely clever at reading a game … this guy is out of his depth !
