Alvarez is not a player to start from the bench, also he is NOT a MIDFIELDER. He is the perfect, TRUE BLOOD No.9 and he should be playing that role every time. If money keeps him there and if he is blinsided by it, so be it, that is on him. If Guardiola (who I view like a very smart sob, read opportunist) has his way with Alvarez and succeeds to keep him on the team past this summer, to me that is a total brainwashing job done by the City management on Alvarez. Alvarez is a WORLD CHAMP for God's sake, he is a super talented No.9 (the best in my opinion) who should have no problem whatsoever finding a great club willing to give him the RESPECT he DESERVES, meaning the STARTER No.9 ROLE.
