better than james in your opinion?
I think he will evolve like saka in Arsenal..cant be a defensive fullback due to his physical lacking.bt exceptional in taking on players.Have to be used properly in tactical setups favourable for him,which Graham potter is doing pretty well.Overall impressed by his performance.Young blood will improve a lot in terms of his game intelligence
He’s more of a hakimi type of fullback mad acceleration to overlap and put in crosses. Who would you have as right back at Man Utd who would have the balance of attack and defence??? I don’t think wan bissaka is good imo because on the ball he’s a liability due to his long legs and the way he takes on a defender annoys the hell out of me.
Most top teams employ a 5 at the back 5 at the front formation. how it shaped differs.
Ultimately if Lamptey is very productive then he'll be part of the front 5 and his defensive frailties will be covered just like how Trent gets covered with Liverpool.
Regarding Trent, if you've noticed he tucks in a lot at Liverpool and operates as a playmaker as Hendo hits the byline and Salah occupies the half space.

Can’t see him playing as a full back in the future he’s to technically he will move to the front line, just with Brighton playing with wingbacks it gives the chance to play 5 attacking players

I would like to see him in a completely different roll. Something like where Klopp has now put Mane. Lampty has the ability to get past and player and his pace is crazy. I think if you could get a Trent of a Tiago feeding him the ball and allow him to run at the defence. Imagine if Mane ever left liverpool and you had diaz , Lampty and Salah up front for Liverpool …this would be too strong for any club to handle.
Do you think lamptey could transform into more of a winger like bale how bale evolved? Probably bale is too rare but he moves like sterling and seems great when I watch at creating for others.
