With a number of FC Bayern’s international players yet to return to training at Säbener Straße, coach Niko Kovac has been filling the gaps in his squad with a number of players from the youth teams, like Maximilian Zaiser, Ryan Johansson, Oliver Batista-Meier, Paul Will, Woo-Yeong Jeong, Marcel Zylla, Jahn Herrmann, Marcel Zylla, Jonathan Meier, Meritan Shabani, Josip Stanisic, Alex Timossi Andersson, Joshua Zirkzee and Angelo Stiller.
And the new coach, as well as established first-team players like Arjen Robben and Rafinha, have all looked pleased with the performances of their young charges.
