  1. Great content. 100% agree. Too reliant on 1v1 on the wings. Zero threat from the middle. Not enough breaking lines with early passes out of the back. Too slow, too predictable. This is why those penetrating runs by Theo are so important!

  2. Milan were absolutely atrocious against Lazio. Milan has no midfield, Ruben is way to up and down and I am sorry but he is not an attacking midfielder. He has good finishing and some good technical ability but is not good enough at facilitation and dribbling. Today he stayed very high up the pitch and never dropped into the 2nd third.

Gabbia is a good defender he has improved so much but should not have been paired with Kjaer. Pioli had an opportunity to test Tomori and Gabbia as a unit today and failed. Pioli always misses the small details and those small details prevent him from being great. His accountability is also missing.

Adli was extremely poor today, he has a long way to go when it comes to being a regista. In my opinion Loftus cheek should have been subbed for Rejinders because of his creativity. Bennacer should be the anchor and Adli should play box to box more than Bennacer.

Because we have such a terrible midfield, it is difficult for Milan to transition the ball effectively and properly bring out all the production that our attack can give us.

That leaves Giroud, because of the way Giroud plays defenders are happy to play close to him because of his age they know he is limited in his attacking acumen. This limits Milan, Jovic is excellent in his position because he will drop into a 9 position and act as almost an attacking midfielder allowing much more attacking football and creative football to come forth. Pioli has been a great coach in so much that he has taken nothing and produced something. He has brought Milan to a great point of stabilization in their rebuild and even exceeded that by winning a title and getting to the semi-final in the champions league. However, it is time for him to go. There is only one coach that we should be thinking about bringing in at this point and that is Thiago Motta.

Hopefully we will see some change in the next transfer window. Chuckweze has to be sold. He is piss poor if he is not in a unit that is not running as a well oiled machine and needs that midfield threat to cover his shortcomings. Regardless we bleed red and black

  3. You know I usually complain about Leao, but I thought he was OK yesterday. He needs to get the ball in a good position which he wasn't. Lazio pushed everything wide as you pointed out so he had few options. One thing Pulisic does that Leao and Theo did more today is drive the ball into the middle to have an attack at least start more central.

  4. Happy for the win, but man we looked like crap the entire match. We look bad too consistently for me to just blame the players. The team has no idea what they're doing, how to attack, how to defend, how to adjust, how to do anything to be honest. This is a result of very bad coaching. The players are clueless and lack confidence as a result. I just don't see Milan ever being anything other than slightly above average as long as Pioli is the coach. Dude has no other tactics other than to hope and pray for a miracle.

  5. 100% This is the problem with fĆŗtbol fans today. Especially young fans. Of course not all but some. They will say a player is non existent if he’s not on the score sheet. They don’t understand the intricacies of how a player impacts the game outside of goals and assist. How a player attacks open spaces, how they can create chances for his teammates, his movement off the ball, the way he draws defenders in with the ball to set up another player to either assist or get a goal.

You get that with Pulisic. Regardless if he doesn’t score or assist he’s going to impact the game either way, offensively or defensively. He would have double digit assist and goals at this point if his teammates finished some of the chances he created for them or if certain players, particularly the midfield, were quicker to react to Pulisic making late runs into the box or going for the pass when Pulisic was clearly open.

And for those who do not know, you cannot OUT-CONCACAF Pulisic. You will learn the hard way šŸ˜‚

  6. Okafor kissing the emblem and RLC running to push Pellegrini off Pulisic, along with everyone else defending Pulisic really brought me happiness. I believe this season has presented us every possible bad scenario. Sometimes we win sometimes we lose, sometimes we play good sometimes we are awful. However, all those situations are bringing the players together and creating trust that has not been there all season. With a few changes in the summer and the majority of the core team intact I predict a 20+ unbeaten streak in all competitions. This season is just preparing and shaping our players we have 8 new signings! I am excited to finish out Europa league and see how great we can be next season.

  7. Pioli is using Loftus wrong. In the first match against Psg, Loftus was amazing playing from deep and pioli did the usual as he did with Kessie and put him to play higher up in the next game and continues with and it is not helping the midfield at all.

  8. Totally agree on your commentary and analysis. This team desperately need Tomori back and a high quality right back. I will add -again and ask for a true defensive midfielder for Christmas. Riejnders is our best midfielder, but he has some quality roaming forward, so why limit him.
This team's poor defensive quality from the midfield back really makes them VERY TOUGH to watch. Frustrating in fact.

  9. Okafor over Jovic although Jovic has been great for us. Also friendly reminder Lukaku has 6 more goals than Leao this season… Imagine being told that last year.

  10. I am in two minds about the middle channel, I agree with you on one side but on the other side Lazio also tried to establish a high and dense midfield line and we didn't even try to combine through that much. Whenever we bypassed it it put us into an advantage. Not accepting this "battlefield" might have been the right choice overall.

  11. Okafor is a perfect CF for the team, hell I would start him as forward and give Giroud some time to rest and get the defense tired. Dude is young, talented, full of energy. I don’t think he should be winger, his forte is being in that center attack area.

  12. I disagree with your Adli criticism. He's the only midfielder Milan have that actually plays the ball forward with his passing. He's been inconsistent but he needs time. And especially he needs a kessie type next to him to be the destroyer, which will allow Ruben or Reijnders to make the forward runs. I think the way the team is structured is not good for Pioli's double pivot. This team would be better suited as a flat 4-3-3.

  13. So many guys on this chanel seem to be stuck in a dream world where they think that our players are good enough to compete with the likes of juve and inter in serie a and man city, real etc etc in champions league.. When i think of Milan i think of players like Baresi, Maldini, Gullit, van Basten, Pirlo, Kaka, Gattuso, Costacurta, Seedorf, Shevchenko, Nesta, Dida, Stam, Cafu, Ronaldinho, Inzaghi, Weah.. the list could go on.. not one of our players today is of the calibre of the guys i mentioned! NOT ONE! Its a miracle Pioli had managed to achieve what he has with our current team. 90% of you "Milanisti" have no idea of our herritage, our history, the legacy past players have left us. Star players from our past played for our club for 20 seasons, won multiple trophies and titles, retired jerseys.. our current "star player" seems more interested in his music career, books and fashion. We sell Tonali and our most expensive new signing has done what??? Italy has produced and is still producing the best defenders in the world, something Milan has always been known for, and look at our back line? Fools!
