  1. Granit Xhaka. 7 seasons at Arsenal zero league titles. 1 season at Leverkusen 1 league title. I wonder if Xhaka expected to win a league title ahead of his Arsenal teammates when he moved to Leverkusen. Heck, let's face it. None of us expected Leverkusen to win anything before Arsenal at the start of this season. Good job, my man.

  2. I love what Xhaka has said here but he's worng comparing this to Arsenal-MCFC 22/23. Bayer 04 are clearly better than Munich, unlike last season. Credit to Bayer Leverkusen!

  3. How lucky Leverkusen are, to have this guy. I think Alonso knows well, how important he is and if he will lose Leverkusen, then he`s without him.

  4. Being a team manager in the premiership is very hard you have to be prepared handle the pressure from football fans and newscastersI is huge most managers ignore them and continue with their joh

  5. The way that Leverkusen are set up make them an innovative team, especially the role that their wing backs Grimaldo and Frimpong play. This was in full effect yesterday, overlapping the forwards from the wing, creating spaces for the two playmakers playing behind the main striker, and when required reinforcing the already-solid back three. A bit similar to how Inter are currently using the wing backs to create chances.

  6. As an Arsenal fan, I’m so happy for Granit Xhaka and Bayern Leverkusen!!! I haven’t been following Bundesliga before but I’m closely watching Leverkusen now… what a team!!!
