Man U are galaxies away from City. It is easier to try and «destroy» games by having your whole team behind the ball, than trying to create and contribute. If United had tried to play an»open» game, City would have scored 8 goals. Had City scored the first goal in this match, it would have been all over as a contest. United need to drastically «reshuffle», City will be immense (again) the coming months.

Utd have to be worried about the direction the club is going in under ETH. Pep, Klopp, Arteta and Ange all drilled in their style of play from the beginning. It might not get immediate results but improvements came in time and an identity was forged.
Utd show no signs of how Ajax played under ETH. I don't see any developing style of play. They're just spending big on individuals and hoping a star emerges. It's not a reliable tactic.
