Reading the comments on this and the last video has just been disappointing. Firstly, who doesn’t want their academy products being successful in the first team? What kind of fans are you? Secondly, he is going to be a top player wherever he goes, this idea that he’s not good enough is ridiculous and we will look back on this as a horrible decision. Finally, and most importantly, what this symbolises is horrible. We have already lost promising players because they don’t see themselves having a future with us (e.g,. Musiala, Guehi, Livramento etc.). Our youth players do not trust the club. And since Lampard’s first stint managing us, we’ve repaired that relationship slightly. But this, this just reaffirms the negative feelings that our academy players have had for years. Even if you make it, you will be undervalued and disposable. What kind of message does that send? And all of the people who are saying they don’t care and “he can go”, are the same ones who will ask “why didn’t we keep Musiala/Livramento”, without realising that they are supporting decisions that made players like Musiala reluctant to trust us with his future.

This is an excellent video post. Clearlake are ripping our club apart day by day with their incompetence. Entitled, noveau, plastics commenting here better find new clubs to support, as its going to be a long way back to the top for Chelsea. I really think, the coach should definitely go back to watch videos of Victor Osimhen and Dusan or also avoid keeping Havertz. I honestly believe you get more from Victor Osimen than these two players. Victor has an amazing work ethic.

I find myself disagreeing. 18 months ago I would have agreed whole heartedly, however all Mount has shown me in that time is that he's more concerned about fucking about with Pepsi adverts and getting his photo taken for fashion magazines than he is about football. His performances dropped off a cliff roundabout that time, and if you're now saying the main stumbling block on a new contract is image rights, that tells me he inteds to continue with that in the long run. He's a fucking footballer not a model, image rights should be the last thing on a footballers mind when signing a contract. If all he wants to do is fuck about getting his photo taken in Burberry suits and play a little bit of football on the side than he can happily do that elsewhere for me.
