Grinding out wins is what winners do?
A wonderful and accurate analysis of the situation Leverkusen is going through. The team needs the services of Nigerian striker Boniface as soon as possible. If Leverkusen win the next three matches, they will have taken a big step towards winning the league. We hope that the disastrous 2002 scenario will not be repeated.
The truth is Bundesliga has not started yet ! and the real fight for the title will start this week. There is a strong pressure on Leverkusen from the English media and also from the Bavarian press. I hope that the coach and all the players will rally around the team and focus on winning at this important stage in the club's history. Leverkusen must survive for the sake of Bundesliga.
