Hansi Flick bonus podcast will be live soon – https://www.patreon.com/collection/231683?view=expanded
Hansi Flick has been heavily linked to a number of vacant managerial jobs in Europe. So today I’m doing another deep-dive into Flick’s tactics, covering both his sextuple winning Bayern Munich, and his poorly-performing Germany.
Do you think he’s the right man for your club? Let me know in the comments!

Thomas Tuchel is available in summer do analyses on him and Ruben Amorim as well please
It may be bit controversial but, I honestly want Barca to come out from tiki-taka and Barca DNA stuff. I want someone who can guide the team towards modern, physical game play. Flick may be a good option but, I really want Klopp to be the next coach.
I still believe that the main problem is in the players themselves, zero mentality, overhyped by fans when they just fart, Pedri is still not convincing with his weak physique, zero creativity, and alot more… getting a coach with no plan of massive change in team players and structure would be useless

Do you think ETH's man utd this season resembles a lot of Flicks' Bayern? Also can you make a video on ETH's Ajax and Man Utd
Xavi embodies Barça DNA. If Xavi can’t coach this team, no one can. I want Xavi to stay so badly man.
Make a video on scaloni
Sighs… here we go again
Gavi would thrive under this system💯
Flick's Bayern could run so much because they were jacked lol. No way that style of play was sustainable without the juice. Also, is it true that there was no drug testing being carried out due to covid?
If we want Flick to be the trainer of fc Barcelona IS becouse we need to change the metods lf the training and to train to mucho more the physich, tactic, intensity….we need to change and Flick brings thatz webare nota thinking that IS going to come and made barsa look like his bayern
The only manager Barca should be trying to hire is Michel from Girona. He’s proven when it comes to being able to work with little resources. He plays the most attractive brand of football in Spain and one of the most attractive in Europe. He also lives in the region and already speaks Catalan. It’s a match made in heaven
Next up, Thomas Tuchel
you had to use the 8-2 game
now do another one for Thomas TuchelAmazing video! Could you do Inter Milan next?
Could you make a video on the next possible Barcatrainer and who would be a good fit? (De Zerbi, Nagelsmann, Klopp, … etc.)
show this to Laporta pls
Barcelona will keep experiencing agony in big games until they fire their entire medical team and their physical fitness and conditioning staff because you can get Ancelotti to coach Barcelona but it won't matter because when the second half starts, Barcelona players are gassed and the others are hit by injury.
They have fallen behind tremendously in terms of physical capabilities, even if the coaches' tactical acumen is flawless, it goes to shit because the conditioning is not at the standard of Bayern, Madrid or Leverkusen.
De Zerbi better for Barça
Tuchel as people say one of the best coaches didnt do anything with a squad like Bayern……Xavi cant do much with a bunch of teenagers running around. I dont think Flick will succeed, Nagelsmann should be the correct choice
YOu have one of the best central defenders in Europe, and one with a potential to become the best. Araujo and Cubarsi, both of them, with proper physical training are capable or stoping any counter attack, specially against Liga teams.
Make a video on Thomas tuchel
What about Gallardo, then? Do you think he is the right man for Barça?
I really enjoyed this analysis. Personally, however, I would like to see Hansi Flick as the next manager of Barca. While I agree with lots of things said here, I do believe you missed a key important factor about Flicks football, and that is upholding the intensity and fitness levels of his players. Arguably, this is much more likely to accomplish as a club manager, than a it is as a national coach, simply because of the continuity you gain with the players in club football. Perhaps this is another reason why Flick struggled at Germany, but not at Bayern.
Furthermore, its no secret that Barca has, for many years now, lacked the fitness levels of a top-tier football ball, and we have seen many times how they have struggled to play with tempo and intensity for the majority runtime of the game. There is no running, no movement, just passing the ball around and accumulating possesion for the sake of it. When they come up against highend opponents, Barca ALWAYS comes in second in those regards, and rumours has also circulated through various media outlets for many years, that the training in Barca is less intense, less focused on fitness-levels, and more concered with the ball technical aspects. I believe this culture has revealed itself in recent years… And not in a good way.
We are are stuck in the old ways, and I believe what Barca really needs is a complete overhaul, and a change in culture. I like the idea of a German coach for this. High fitness and intensity seems to be imbedded in the German philosophy of coaching, and this is especially true in Flicks case. I think the day-to-day oppertunity he'll have at Barca to train the players, tactically also, will be of great benefit to him, and might be what he needs to repeat the success he had at Bayern. I also think, contrary to this video, that the current Barca-squad is quite close to having a proper set-up for this type of football. They already have two highly offensive, and speedy, backs in Balde and Cancelo (if he stays), as well as two CB's in Araujo and Kounde who are also really pacey defenders. This means that we would be less vulnerable to the counterattacks you mentions. Furthermore our midfield has some players who are really adapt in the high-pressing game, like Gavi, De Jong, Gundogan and Fermin Lopez. If they could add someone like Kimmich (as suggested by rumours), it would be perfect. There is also good coverage in the right wing to wreck havoc on the opposition defense, as well as taking inside/center positions occationally (Though all this relays on a 16-year old Yamal, but oh man, he is getting good!!!). Admittedly, The left-wing needs and upgrade for this system, and the cynicism in front of goal is also a question mark (Can Lewa recapture his old form?, How adaptable will Vitor Roque prove to be?).
But all in all, I see a Barca-squad with many ideal players for Flicks football (and I do believe Flick does to, if you believe the rumours of how much he seems to be interested in this job – fx he is taking a spanish language course as we speak). I think that only a few adjustments is needed for Flick to vastly improve this Xavi current team.
Next on Thomas Tuchel?
19/20 Bayern squad considered absolute stacked only after Flick took over. If as a Bayern fan I remember, lot of players in that squad on chopping board under kovac. Pundits question Muller and his age, there were doubts about Goretzka. The situation is kind of similar to what we are seeing now in Bayern. After Flick became coach and started winning consistently, then only the squad was considered best. I'm just pointing out our own view can change, so much about a squad and what we a player can do.
Can you do an analysis of how the top 5 most likely coaching options (flick, de zerbi, nagelsman, etc) would adapt to barca hypothetically. A side by side by comparison where you then end up choosing who would be the best fit for barca . It would be a slightly longer video but I think a lot of people would appreciate that. Thank you
