honestly i don't think this guy is gonna be someone useful for us. Bellanova vibes.
Those numbers don't look great but every time I see him play for Canada he's cooking and looks like one of the more impressive players on the team. During qualifying and the World cup i was saying "Who is this guy??" "He looks like he'll be a stud player." "Why hasn't Inter picked this guy up?". Don't really watch Brugge for good reason lol. I think he has all the tools and probably better at everything than Dumfries other than defending.. That's not hard to do once he sees the players we have like even Lautaro and Thuram defending he'll know that's important. Probably best that he doesn't take Dumfries spot just yet though since we got to build Dumfries value up to sell him lol.

In my opinion this is Lazaro 2.0 but cheaper. He has a lot to learn defensively to adapt to playing at RWB for Inter and in Série A so this transfer is a bit surprising for me. But I trust Beppe and Piero, they know more than me obviously so they must see something I don’t.

Inter fan and living in Canada. Seen him the last few years. Lots of potential which I believe Inzaghi and his coaching staff can unlock. Plays with an edge which I love.
Never heard of him before we were linked to him, but in Marotta i trust. Inzaghi has his work cut out for him if he can make this guy a proper WB/defender.
As a Canadian Inter fan, I hope we can turn Buchanan into a Thuram 2.0 in terms of quality. Like watching him for the national team, he does have to work on his decision making a bit as he can mess it up at times. Overall hoping for the best. Forza Inter 🔵⚫️

Dumfries was also crap at defending when he arrived but now I trust him defensively on the wing. Let Inzaghi work his magic.
He could be really good or he can be a Lazaro 😰. His dribbling completion and defensive skills are scary.
Another aspect I’ve noticed from the bits and pieces I’ve watched of him is that he’s got a bit of fight/aggression in a good way. He often goes in hard with shoulder.

I feel this is exactly what we need. Another pacy dribbling winger, oh and don't worry guys, defensive school, he'll get his lessons under Limone and our players! Imagine getting into a counter attack after Hakan has released the inch perfect pass with Lauti-Thuram and DiMarco-Tajon on the wings running at the opposition box. Inzaghi never had a Hakimi luxury like Conte had. So he has to create his own from a Canadian winger from Belgium. Lets gooo

I see many Canadians excited but they are clearly biased. I have heard worrying things about him. Lazaro comparisons are not something you want to hear. Hopefully we pay less than 10m and he surprises us.
I personally prefer Jeremie Frimpong, but money talks.
I hope some premtards will pay 50-60 mil plus for Dumfries in the summer. So to get him now is great timing to prepare him as a starter for next season 💯
Great analysis as always. He is raw but hopefully he can show great attitude and effort in training and get minutes. I personally would rather to go for Van Bissaka whom is available on free transfer. Right now, except Anthony and Sancho and most of everyone in MU are underperforming..

I hate him already. He has awful stats. He’s bad at passing, crossing and he even loses the majority of his duels. This guy can only run. He’s just a worse Bellanova. But the Lazaro comparison was spot on. I can’t believe why Marotta and Ausilio have to buy every year at least one big flop. They’re wasting so much needed money for useless players like Buchanan, Lazaro, Dalbert, Gosens, Correa, Arnautovic…I just can’t understand why they do often such a good job and then sometimes they do such a miserable job 😢
