Unfortunately for them, time is not on their side and as other teams scramble to get their squads in tact as the windows end nears, target will be shared and bidding wars will happen. This is what happens when City board take too much time and drag their feet. Prices go and competition for players comes in. They should’ve signed Doku when they had the opportunity instead of procrastinating bc had they done that, he would’ve been cheaper than he currently is and Chelsea and WH wouldn’t be sniffing around to sign him. The board have really been uncharacteristically poor this summer. I hope they can turn it around in the last 2 weeks before the window closes and give Pep the tools he needs to win

Bad touch, needs acres to beat defender wont get that playing for City against packed defences, cant pass, cant cross, cant shoot, cant keep possession calmly…not what we need Palmer is more suited to City style. Got rid of previous blind alley head down speedster Sterling who was losing possession cheaply after he went we won treble by starving opponents of less chance to counter…cant see why we are signing a inferior Sterling for such money. Need someone to provide assists now Gundogan and Mahrez gone and De Bruyne injured and Doku wont do that. Kvara would have been much better suited and had 17 assists last season and 14 goals (more than Doku managed in 4 seasons) and Kvara technically much much better than Doku. Doku will be at Palace or a West Ham in a year or two…i'll be back to this comment to own it if he proves me wrong (he wont)
Every week multiple players around the world skin a player or two, doesnt make them great though what matters is end product and not giving away possesion cheaply or seeing the better options available (e.g @6.00 in video he spins and loses ball when he could have given ball to 3 players in space but doesnt because his head is down), its like everyone plays too much fifa now and rates players on if they are fast and beat a player…fucks sake
