Spot on. Him + Martinez is a fairly slow pairing. That's a concern. Say what you want about Varane's passing, but he's pretty quick.
Ten hag wants to play FIFA ultimate team tactics , he must go with meta defenders. If the CB doesn't have a pacey CB to cover then we will get cooked on the counter . Pretty sure that half of our issue is not being able to press up and squeeze the pitch which leaves gaps everywhere especially in midfield

He’s suffered another injury in his left knee becoming injury prone imo we shouldn’t go for him if Varane leaves in the summer we need 2 rcb and regardless 1 lcb

I like him, and i dont mind the fact that Upamecano and Min Jae are chosen over him as he still is class. However i agree that him and Martinez are not the fastest CB pairing and his injury record is not something we cannot ignore

We need two new quality CBs so getting de Ligt and Todibo would be pretty great, let go of Varane and Maguire. Lindelöf and Evans can stay another season.

He is a good profile but he doesn't tick all the boxes. We all know Licha likes to be really aggresive. When he came on against Spurs, he literally tracked Richarlison all the way into Tottenham's half. So, clearly, the other CB should be quick to cover the spaces in behind (best eg. Van de Ven at Spurs). Defending the channels, being tall (very imp!) and being athletic in general is also necessary. I might be very wrong but De Ligt seems a bit stiff at times.
Todibo is like a no brainer option. He ticks all the boxes apart from experience at a big club but was ofc scouted by INEOS, so there won't be a problem there as well (in terms of talent).
Also, Todibo was in the shortlist of Newcastle and Spurs, so atleast we can trust their scouts.😅😂
Also, NO MORE injury prone players please!! Availability is very crucial because we all know without injuries our season would he much much better until now!!
