Arsenal are firmly back in the title race after a huge 6-0 victory over West Ham United. But with the score still 0-0 after 30 minutes, a subtle but brilliant tweak from Mikel Arteta finally got his side the control they needed to humiliate their London rivals. One man in particular, Martin Odegaard, was at the very heart of this. Adam Clery explains why…

  1. This is top shelf stuff. I just wasted five minutes of my life listening to Barry Glendening drivel on about how poor West Ham was crediting Fabianski for his saves… and Fabianski wasn’t even between the sticks. THIS video on the other hand shines light on a level of the beautiful game that just gets missed by so many of the pundits. Thanks for putting so much thought and effort into your videos. It’s awesome!!!

  2. This seems more like incompetence from Moyes rather than “genius” from Arteta. Arteta knew how Moyes would set up his team yet he still went with a formation / selection that meant that Arsenal’s limited creativity would be stifled.

  3. So here it is then. A Moyes plan B tactical masterclass. Benrhama left sided player. Sold. Fornals not strictly left sided but could do.a job sold. Cornet left sided( and he's rapid) can't get a look in. Johnson stand in cover at right back or anywhere across the back line slung in left side of midfield!!!!. And these so called experts and pundits and radio hosts ( jim white you know who you are) keep telling us fans lumping out the thick end of 120 quid for an afternoon watching this shit to be careful what we wish for. Well I'm wishing for a manager with a brain instead of clogged up mush between his ears
And Declan has seen it close up.
if I was him I'd have walked to Arsenal's ground.
    John Simmonds.

  4. i think one of the arteta criteria of his player is intelligent? he need player that can understand tactics apart from technical ability? looks great for now🎉

  5. That change is what we need but what work now wont work all the time. We need flexibility. And oponent dont know what to do. Espcialy against city. Pep will figure it out.

  6. anyone who sits down to analyze and understand a football game like this, just as a hobby should be into research finding the cure for cancer or researching on immortality, get into a lab man

  7. I'm just disappointed that Moyes didn't really do anything to counter the change Arteta made in Arsenal's tactic… He just decided before the game, "this is the way we're playing no matter what".
