Joakim Mehle Pedersen (Dan. Joakim Mæhle Pedersen; born May 20, 1997, Ostervro, North Jutland) is a Danish footballer, defender of the Atalanta club and the Danish national team.

Mehle is a pupil of Aalborg. In the summer of 2016 he was transferred to the main team. On August 7, 2016 he made his debut in the Danish championship in a duel against Norshelland, coming on as a substitute in the 89th minute instead of Thomas Enevoldsen.

In the summer of 2019, Joachim was invited to the national team to participate in the European Youth Championship, which took place in Italy. In the second match in the group against Austria, he scored two goals in the 33rd and 77th minutes and his team won 3: 1.

In December 2020, Atalanta bought Mehle from Genk for 10 million euros, including bonuses.

  2. Mæhle is way too good for Serie A. He should play in Barcelona or some other top level team. Best danish player imo. Ahead of Eriksen, Smeichel, Christensen, ….
