  1. I knew PBC was in trouble and the sport for that matter when they started referring to it as an island as its own entity like a UFC that it would exist on its own and only fight in house. They attempted to create a cult like following like UFC that would look down on all who existed outside PBC, HOWEVER what ended up happening was stale matchups, infrequent fights, and frustration that fighters outside of PBC were not allowed to challenge the PBC roster which led to many just becoming blase about the sport altogether.

However Kim is correct, the fighters are to blame first and foremost NOT Haymon or Ellerbe, they gotta stand up and make the fights the fans want

  2. Tank is only a PPV draw when he has a "Ryan Garcia" type as his dance partner. We've seen it. He has NOT drawn over 250k in any, cept the Ryan the prospect fight. I actually think Tank can fight better than the hardcores do, but we need to see it. It's this mentality that ruins boxing, regardless of what Steve or anyone else says!!

  3. REGARDLESS, THE FIGHTERS SHOULD BE MAKING ALL THE MONEY! BECAUSE THEY'RE THE ONE'S PUTTING THERE LIVE ON THE LINE.!! NOT THE PROMOTER, NORE THE NETWORKS.! THE PROMOTER & NETWORKS SHOULD ONLY BE MAKING MAYBE 10% OF REVENUE.! AND THE FIGHTERS GET 90% OF EVERYTHING ELSE.!!

  4. At least Steve Kim was honest on Leonard Ellerbe and the BS they’re doing over there. Kirk he said, as long as the public funds it, they’ll keep doing it. Noooo way in hell would I pay PPV to see watch their events.

  5. 5 fights is a lot when you cant choose your opponent. The best no longer fights the best. I respect Ryan Garcia because he seems to fight anyone. Tank nake excuses. Boots Ennis willing to fight anyone

  6. Kudos to Steve for keeping it 💯. Unlike a lot of the fighters today, Mayweather actually put the work in before becoming a star. These guys want Mayweather, but without working hard for it. 3:43

  7. Crawford didn't break their bank. PBC will make more money on Amazon Prime instead of the Showtime & Fox Networks. PBC made it easier for the viewers, but that time has come to an end. It's time to make sense with those dollars. Being smart enough not to fall behind with the fighters they have, maintain their brand, it's that time and they will do well.
