Theon Koopmeiners (Dutch. Teun Koopmeiners; February 28, 1998, Castricum, Netherlands) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Atalanta club.
He started playing football in the Vitesse training system, after which he moved to the AZ academy. Together with Yong AZ he became the winner of the Tvededivisi season 2016/17. The match with Den Bosch, held on August 18, 2017, was the first game in Theon’s professional career. The meeting ended with a 3:1 victory. For the main team, the player made his debut on October 1, 2017, in a match with Feyenoord, in which his team lost with a devastating score – 0:4.
