  1. Dare I say this is why they signed Jurrien Timber so that Arteta can make changes like this. The fact that Ben White can now Invert and do it well, I think Timber coming back to play LB is going to be such a treat!

  2. Ben White on the Invertion is actually insane going forward. The team can now invert from both sides. such an advance for when we play different teams. I feel this is massively underrated and and more unpredictability to our game.

  3. I think oddly enough this was the perfect team. Is had no Partey, no Jesus, no Zin and I actually think it’s better without them. Without Jesus you don’t have this central focus, tbh you have absolutely no idea which player is the attacking threat at all. One minute Havertz is up there, then trossard, then Martinelli. There’s no one to plan for here as a defender. Even me as a spectator of this game of a team I know inside and out, I couldn’t figure out formation at all…it was non stop evolving. Even Saliba and rice would swap. I’ve watched this game back 3 times now and it really is a masterclass. I think Arteta has made a new style of play here we haven’t seen before

  4. So ben white is a bit like John stones and odegaard like Bernardo, hm, I think I ve seen it somewhere. Now i am a bit confused, if arteta knew all along that white could invert, why did we loose all those points when zinchenko was injured, why did tierney was made to invert when it was much more sensible to have white do it instead abd have tierney do wgat he does best. I always assumed that white couldnt do it thats why arteta didnt try it. Perplexing by arteta. The interchange btw trossard and havertz was good, would be great to see that same thing with trossard and esr at some point, could be like totti and perotta back in rhe day

  5. Zinchenko is still a bit ahead of his time, which is why his play sometimes appears disjointed, out of tune. Bergkamp often had this problem. It’s not a bad problem to have. There were some try-outs in that game. Saliba very advanced on the right, Martinelli switching to the right but Saka not switching to the left (huge overloads on the right). And you’d think teams would have noticed by now you can’t let Trossard turn in that position, he’s just going to curl it into the top corner for practice.

  6. I've supported White when people doubted him and think he's a good player but imho, I don't think he's been as great as people have made him to be in recent games. Of late, he's been very indecisive, slow with decision-making on passes when teams are pressing and he takes an eternity for a throw-in, which allows the opposition to set defensive marking. I still think Tomiyasu is a better inverted player as shown before he left to play for Japan in the Asia Cup. Our best back four is Timber Gabriel Saliba Tomiyasu

  7. There were spells in the game where rice would fill in next to gabriel and it would be white as a lone 6. Maybe this is artetas emergency option if rice is injured to have white as an option in the 6 and have tomi and timber for rb options

  8. Havertz is one of the best signing for the arsenal this season because he makes the opponent unable to get predict us. He can play the false 9, 10 or 8 or sometimes he can also be benched😂. The opponents really don't know what arsenal to prepare for. Arteta knew exactly what he was doing when he bought Kai.
