The good old days of baseball
He was probably distracted by the fans roasting him all game long in the outfield. I remember as a kid in Yankee stadium the fans were absolutely merciless to him all game long in the outfield. This was long before 2000 when he was briefly in pinstripes. I think it was around this time while he was in Texas. I have to hand it to Jose he never got butthurt over the crowd taunting him like that and always smiled. Jose would do and say little things back to the crowd and in the end we all had a good time with it including Jose himself. You can say a lot about Jose but he was a good sport to fans. Not every player can handle that level of taunting by fans as brilliantly as Jose did. By the end of the game all the Yankee fans taunting him couldn’t help but like and respect him afterwards because of how well he handled it.
That’s a falling baseball from sky high landing on his head, that had to hurt 😂😂🤕

The guy was a 40/40 MVP in 1988 and 5 years later his career became a laughingstock with moments like this.

I was at that game as a kid , it was insane we couldn’t believe what we just saw 😂
