30 seconds before the incident with the referee changing his battery they booked Ben White for time wasting. White was trying to take a free kick and Liverpool had all the options covered only to stop the game a few seconds later.
Bad day at the office down to too many games over the last 7 weeks for LFC. It's just 1game. Gunners had a bigger blip, but they are back in title conversation. Martinelli shoulder charged which is ok. Bouncing ball is VVD's fault. Should have cleared the ball.
Van Dijk was very slow getting over to Trossard to cut off the angle.
gab clearly does not like arsenal.
The only way arsenal could have won if liverpool helped them
Because Arsenal won we are now looking for Mistakes Liverpool made
Why everyone making it look like van dijk and Allison is the only one make a mistake which cost them the game, what about saliba and raya mistake that mistake switch the momentum to Liverpool so I don’t see why so much focus is on van dijk and Allison .
It is highly recommended and a MUST for Liverpool FC management, board of directors, coaching staff, people working in their club who are involved on the transfer-market to permanently sell, do not offer loan with buy back clause, recall or return players that are currently on-loan by another football club to play for Liverpool FC, ageing (28 years old and above), inconsistent (limited playing time, unable to perform well) regardless of age, injury prone, those players who will turn 30 years old on 2027, players that are not comfortable playing in different position instead of their natural position, that must happen "ON OR BEFORE JULY 2027", include the remaining UEFA Champions League Final Winner of 2018/2019 season and we are referring to Adrián San Miguel del Castillo (37), Thiago Alcantara (32), Matip (32), Van Dijk (32), Becker (31), Salah (31), Endo (30), Robertson (29), Tsimikas (27), Luis Fernando Díaz Marulanda "Luis Diaz" (27), and Diogo José Teixeira da Silva "Diogo Jota" (27).
Our beloved club Liverpool FC should focus on acquiring and promoting rising young talents between 17 to 21 years of age. This can be found in Liverpool FC Academy, different team playing in premiere league, outside premiere league (La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga), or outside Europe (MLS, AFCON, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Argentine Super League, and other football league from other countries). This is to save a lot of money to renovate whole Anfield, pay debts to fully comply with Financial Fair Play, and eventually have a great amount of money to sign a superstar in Liverpool FC
Tough game for Liverpool Arsenal got the 3 points but i fear in doing so have only helped man city as Arsenal will only be 3rd in the league which isn't an advantage at all
Van Dijk, too casual. It rubs off onto others in the team. After all he is the leader in the team.
I think that error cost Liverpool the match, second half Liverpool started well and they always play better in the second half.
It has to be Liverpool city for the tittle
Arsenal will choke
There was no need for Ali to step forward
Even after that bounce, The big guy was in a position to clear the ball.
Two of the most overrated bums in the league. A pub team with about two good players in it.
I’ve seen comments here and elsewhere criticizing Van Dijk’s 1v1 defending. Clearly a lot of people don’t know that he’s been doing this for years and there’s a very real reason why he does it. In 1v1 situations in open field, Van Dijk dictates where the attacking player is going to go by approaching at an angle where the attacking player is forced to attack one way. He then closes in and blocks the shot or bodies the opponent at the last moment. He’s been doing that for years and is able to do it because of his size, speed, and reading of the game. Van Dijk’s strategy also provides the goalkeeper with a much better read of the shot because he knows roughly where the attacking player will be shooting from. The goal last night was the result of the deflection taking it between Allison’s legs. But if you’ve actually watched Van Dijk for years, his 1v1 technique works very well the vast majority of the time.
I'm not making excuses, Arsenal deservingly won the game. I would just like to make a point about Alisson. The day before the game Connor Bradley's dad died, and a couple of years back Ali's dad died in a horrific and tragic event. Maybe the death of Connors dad had an effect of Alisson and his mind wasn't fully focused. I may be wrong, it's just a theory as all season he has been fantastic, and the day after the death he has a stinker.
So no hate towards me people, I'm just throwing that in there.
But well deserved Arsenal.
None of the Liverpool players turned up yesterday. Barring mac allister everyone else was below average. Totally got outplayed by the better team and Arsenal fully deserved to win. Liverpool needed that wake up call. But I am hopeful Liverpool can beat city at Anfield.
Alisson. I know this world is killing you. Alisson. My aim is true.
Too much being read into games these days. Both players are the main reason Liverpool have done well this season, they made mistakes yesterday they held their hands up, they move onto the next game. Arsenal away is one of the 3 hardest away games any team can face, and Arsenal had to win yesterday. The fact Liverpool played poorly but it still took a mistake, then a sending off and deflected goal to lose the game shouldn't be any cause for alarm. Brentford away at 12:30 will be huge though as they have a poor record there.
Van Disney and Alisonwomderland were pathetic. World Class they said 😂
Arsenal played a very good game and Liverpool played a bad game
Yes we have about 4 players out but still that was a tough defeat
We don't care , or worry about a freak result VVD, Alison had one bad game wile they been the best all season. Stop using this platform to discuss rubbish. One bad game won't enhance your careers.😅😅😅😅😅
Virgil van Maguire
– Alisson,Van Dijk aren't PR Media Hyped best Keeper,CB
– When Ederson,Dias are far more consistent and decorated?🤔
Van Dijk strikes me as an, im too cool i camt look like i try that hard type defender.
The real question about the second goal is why did Allison jump… why do keeper always jump? As soon as you leave the ground you have no control, same as defenders sliding early.
Stupid error.
I'm afraid to say this, but I think Liverpool are going to go on a very long winless run after Saturday's game against Burnley, which I believe they will win. However, after that, I doubt they will. Klopp's interview after Saturday really shows his mind is elsewhere; he isn't fully focused on the team.
Gabs & Jules sound like Laurel & Hardy…biased clowns🤣🤣
As a Liverpool fan, Arsenal out-thought, out-smarted & out-foxed us. Kudos to them. We had a bad day at the office. No excuses. We lost 2 games in 34 which is quite remarkable. We march on, on a positive mindset YNWA💪
Because van dijk is shite, simples
Suck.
