I’m with Veronica on Costa/Whittaker. I understand what Dan’s saying about volume but I think Costa will struggle to find the target against Whittaker, and I think that will slow down that volume. I also think Whittaker will be extra motivated for this fight after losing his last time out against DDP, and he recently said he still believes he’s better than DDP so I don’t think he’s lost any of his confidence. Whittaker UD for me.
Neither of you said anything about how Paulo couldn’t finish a old hurt blown up has been like Luke Rockhold. Paulo doesn’t finish fights at this level of fighters he barely makes weight he is all about looks not power and no brains

Dan is looking too much into Ilia's early career, he is more of a boxer with ability to grapple and wrestle now, he is not Ortega or Yair chasing submissions left and right. Ilia is going to strike mostly, wrestle late or early if necessary and use his submissions only if Volk is rocked, but even then he might use ground and pound rather than look for submissions
