  1. i feel like theres a risk with xabi alonso and that is that hes a young manager and hes learning on the job and i feel like liverpool need a proven manager like hansi flick or zidane etc.

  2. xabi alonso appointment is very interesting. His tactics are unique and hes heavily influenced by mourinho and benitez, as he often plays a back 5 out of possession and hits teams hard on the counter attack. At the same time hes also influenced a lot by guardiola, as his team has a strict positional play and in possession his team play like a guardiola team.

  3. Alonso understands the Liverpool culture and fans. He may be a young and inexperienced manager, but all managers started somewhere. Being inexperienced has nothing to do with it. If he's a good manager, he will be successful. Ten Hag is a good manager but has owners (Glazers) that don't invest in the club, unlike Liverpool, who do invest and support the manager

  4. His affinity for Erikson is genuine and full of admiration of a pure football talent. I'm grateful for Frank and Brentford giving him the opportunity to return to top-level football .
