  1. Newcastle could do with loaning another midfielder with our brutal injury list & Sandro Tonali being banned until next season, although a more defensive midfielder is probably needed more than an offensive type player like Reyna but it would annoy Sunderland fans who loved his father if Gio signed for us😅

  2. lol, gio reyna, and his agent, are idiots, they should have had a transfer lined-up at the start of the window! 🤣 unfortunately, his career is circling-the-drain… 😢

  3. I think he’ll really struggle in the Prem, Italy and Napoli could really suit his style or maybe a loan move to Inter Miami and have some fun with Messi and raise his profile before deciding something for the summer

  4. IMO, Gio needs to do something similar to Zirkzee and move to a mid-table club in Spain or Italy or France and develop for 1-2 years. Then he can possibly move to a bigger club in a couple summers if he reaches that ability. IMO he needs to avoid Germany and England due to its physicality

  5. Problem with signing Reyna is that you also need to sign his Mommy to nurse him at halftime. This guy is such a prima donna…..it’s as if he thinks he’s Messi, without the accomplishments and talent.

  6. When he said 50 mil should be a steal for a player like reyna i almost burst out laughing as it shows how different the US perspective seems to be. Reyna has tremendous on ball talent, but he simply has not developed much in the last few years. He is neither quick nor phisically strong, rather the opposite. He is also not very versatile as they claim, he is basically purely a traditional nr 10, a position that looses more and more relevance in the modern game, so it is hard to find a spot for him. He is not good on the wing at all as he is really quite slow for a professional footbal player and he is missng the phisical strength and defensive ability to play as a 6 or 8. You can play him as a false 9, but his finishing ability is not the best and he is more of a playmaker.
I think a move to the PL would be a massive mistake, he is already phisically outclassed in the Bundesliga and that would be a huge problem in the PL. I think he should sign an extension in Dortmund to preserve his value and then go on loan to a mid level Bundesliga or Serie A club to show his potential for a possible move in the summer. Maybe even Dutch league, but i would really be surprised if he would do well for an ambitious team like marseille or seville, he is more of a project than a player you can plug into a team and expect immediate results.

  7. Lol. He’s not playing. Constantly injured. But a low/mid table club would be “too negative”. Y’all crazy. Love you tho Jules. 🤝🏼🤝🏼🤝🏼
