It's not that tinker man coaches don't have footballing ideas.
They over think and that puts players in awkward position during the matches.
My point is, if Jackson is better than all we got on the LW let him play there.

is nkunku fit? then he plays as a 9. Is jackson fit? then he plays on the left. Is Palmer fit? then he plays on the right. Is caicedo and enzo fit? then they play in the pivot with enzo in the free role and caicedo roaming the horizontal to shield the defence. is madueke fit? stick him in in the gallagher role. Is chilly and gusto full of gusto? they play. The CBs are simple (if theyre fit) gilchrist (or colwill) and dassi. job done, bench is tanked, get the 3-0

I think we should start nkunku against cp because we will play more couterattack against city and i would prefer conor in that situation
Important to note that Jackson was a LW pretty much all of his career. Only at the back half of last season at Villarreal he started playing ST, so it’s why he’s so raw at playing the ST position.
I would take out Gallagher and put in Nkunku. We don’t need Gallaghers energy pressing against a team that is probably going to be sitting deeper and letting us have the ball.
Take out wasteful Gallager and play Nkunku upfront with Palmer as our attacking midfielder
