Feels like klopp moves when he first moved to liverpool as liverpool will great to see how spurs move forward
Dier was actually a good DM for Poch, and he played where ever the manager put him. We had a terrible midfield under Conte which broke down to many times adding much unwanted pressure on our defense which collapsed regulary. Should have been sold under Nuno but played well for Jose. Conte for me was looking for a way out, setting our team up to be weak in the midfield knowing that our defence would collapse.
I was so disappointed that we never signed Alex Scott, I don't want any other midfielders coming in because he'd be the missing piece that we are missing in that area. He's amazing with the ball at his feet, reminds me of a young Gazza and Grealish. .

Spurs sports/recruitment department are on a roll, this move is another master stroke. Things started to change when Paratici was appointed, but now with the latest additions of Lange and Munn things seem to be getting even better….. Regarding Dier, especially on a Tuchel system, wouldn’t be too negative. He started his career as an holding midfielder, and was quite good at that. Then he was asked by some manager to move at CB, mostly as part of low-block systems and formations, based on counter-attacking. In that kind of system he works quite well as CB because can use his size and strength to defend inside the box. But as part of more attacking setups, and that’s the direction where the whole PL is moving to, is easily caught out because doesn’t have the quickness and pace to deal with fast attackers in the open field. I think that used to his strength at Bayern can still do a job and have a good final years to his career.

As a United fan, Spurs are doing exactly what we should be doing. They are signing the players we should be signings.
We sign Onana, they sign Vicario. We sign Evans, they sign Van de Ven and Dragusin.
We sign Mount, they sign Maddison.
We sign Antony, they sign Kulusevski.
