  1. Seb, sadly I think there is a decent chance you're correct. Yesterday watching Gio be interviewed by Forrest, he just looked very non-excited. Hopefully that's just Gio being his low key self but it definitely gave me a weird feeling. Here, I'd love to believe what you're thinking and saying. Just not sure it's the case. Fingers crossed you're right and See is wrong. Great show guys!

  2. I think it's fine to grade the move as a "B." So many people are bent out of shape one way or the other. It's not ideal in that there's someone already locked in at the 10 (Gibbs-White), and it's a relegation battle situation at the club. Those are drawbacks for sure. But it is clearly better than staying at BVB, where he was not trusted, he will play on the biggest stage in club soccer (other than champions league), and he will be given a chance immediately to make a difference. I'm cautiously optimistic.

  3. I don't think Seb has this right. Forest are interested. I'm sure Forest tried to get a buy option, but BVB wouldn't give it to them. It's not like it would be bad for Forest to have the option — you always try to get a buy option in a loan if you're bringing in the player — but they didn't manage to get it. BVB must have stood firm with no buy option. Forest wanted Reyna badly enough they went along with the loan with no buy option.

  4. He needs to show what he can do, it’s been a long time since he has! There was no option to buy because the clubs couldn’t agree, not because he wasn’t wanted FFS. Plus January is a shite window to do business in and clubs are feeling the squeeze of FFP and PSR. They’ll all wait till the summer to make big moves, loans at this time of year are the most obvious transfer opportunity for a club in need of new talent and for players not getting game time. Reyna needs to grasp the opportunity showcase who he is and what he can do for a team in the toughest league in the world. If he does, the winners will be Forest who’ll get points they need, BVD who can get a bigger fee and GR who’ll be attracting clubs from around Europe.

  5. Seb showing lack of knowledge on my club Nottingham Forest. CHO is not playing well so I expect Gio to get plenty of minutes, and way more than he is currently getting. He will probably start on the right wing with Elanga on the left and MGW in the 10 but allows all 3 of them to interchange spots in the game when we attack, and the prospect of those 3 feeding Awoniyi up front is exciting to us Forest fans. We all wanted an option to buy, but Dortmund did not offer that to any of the teams interested. I'm with Herc, this is a great opportunity for Gio to showcase himself, rather than rotting away on the sidelines at Dortmund, and potentially great move by Forest too.

  6. I don’t like the style fit but he’s def gonna play. Especially after selling their best CM. MGW can play there and Gio ahead of him or he can play on either wing or even as a CM himself. You’re acting like he’s competing with prime hazard. CHO is out of form and low on confidence, Elanga is coming back from injury and not fully fit and Gio is better than both of them anyway.

  7. I love when these two argue like this. I typically hate this kind of back and forth on news shows but there something about the way these two do it and I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it reminds me of when my brother and I argue about the stupidest things just of the sake of it.

  8. Seb kept talking about no one willing to do an option to buy, the reports were that it was Dortmund that wanted the dry loan which makes sense given they made Gio extend his contract for 1 year before agreeing to the loan. Dortmund wanted Gio to go out on loan & excel so they can sell him for more money.

  9. If he doesn’t play in Forest how is that a win? The reason he is going to forest is to get minutes so going back to Dortmund with getting minutes in the EPL is terrible because he couldn’t crack it and is going back to a team were he is not trusted by the coach. How can Dortmund try to seek him in the summer after that?

    Herc is full of 💩
