This is what happens when you put these players on a pedestal from the get-go. The majority of people know the talent and ability is there. You don’t score 30 goals in a Season without having that talent. But why is it always the Managers fault when it comes to certain players? Sancho and Pogba are examples too. This is why footballers of today can never reach the heights of yesteryear’s footballers.
There is no huge talent, there was potential when he was young but now if anybody say he has talent and other shit, when he is 26 years old and has been playing for 8-9 years at professional level is plain stupid or is trying to protect him (minimise the damage). There is no significant improvement to his play. He has been like this from the start of his playing career to till now.
If you had put him in the past Manchester United team he would made to experience hell.
He would have been sold after 1-2 seasons if he didn't show any improvement or right attitude by sir Alex Ferguson.
