I didn't like hendo at Liverpool,hes just a suckhole,he didn't inspire or excite me while he was playing at anfield , very lucky to get the medal's he did, average player not a game changer, as a captain he got subbed off and started from the bench more than any captain i know,if Southgate picks him for England that says a lot about Southgates ambitions to win the euros or world cup hes a nearly man and a yes man for the fa hes wasted the young talent of England.

It's quite unusual for Ajax to sign an established foreign International. I can see why they would be excited by this signing, he lifted the Premier League and Champions League as Captain not long ago
