What happened in the second half was that Moyse decided to swap Kudus over to the right where they doubled up on him and he always seemed like when he received the ball it was from a standing start. He was in Shaws' pocket
It's unforgivable that we have a team when fully fit that has 4 top, top quality players in it in the shape of Paqman, Kudus, Alvarez and Bowen and yet Moyse insists on this system. It's a waste of mammoth proportions.
so, garbage yet again…we win some and we lose some. so what's different week in week out in the prem league? should we give the girls team a chance then for the next couple of games??

Hi Guys I share your frustration but we did beat them at the London Stadium, I think one of the things that wound me up was the celebration of the goals and we could have young kids in the team that could have worked hard..
The coaching ,player selection and the acquisition of Phillips is laughable… any other club Moyes would have been gone… I just don’t understand how he is still here

What's happened is plenty of bad decisions in recruitment this January, wrong team selections, injuries, AFCON etc we've not won in long enough where it has become a habit. Teams who forget how to win and what it feels like struggle to get it back. The abomination that was the referee at Sheffield seems to have been that turning point. One too many without a win.
Not to worry, Arsenal next where we might have 20% possession. Looking forward to watching Arsenal attack us for 85 mins.

So many issues haven’t been addressed despite all the money spent – no striker, weakness at RB, Zooma’s knees, no creativity on the left side and NO opportunity for youth to fill in these weaknesses. Look at how the young players come into Liverpool, Newcastle and other teams who have confident and accomplished managers, who know how to delegate to their staff.
That said, until the owners truly believe in the vision of a world class West Ham we ‘re always going to be spinning our wheels….why do they ‘aspire’ to buying a racing Porsche and then not equip it with the best pit crew and drivers?
Let’s hope next Summer’s transfer window is a good one with more players like Kudus and Alvarez.⚒
I agree Kudus is stronger on the right but I think he’s strongest position is in the middle. When Paqueta is fit, I put him there everyday but why’s he not there right now?
Tbh, the clear chances yesterday were a surprise in the moment. Those aside it felt to me like the only way we were scoring is if we got a penalty or scored from the right corner flag. I discount left side corners now. Inexplicably we’ve just ceded those by placing them in the same spot, game after game.
It’s not complicated. The curtain has been pulled back. No Paqueta, no win. No Bowen breaking free. No Kudus breaking free, especially when he’s on the left. Essentially like removing one of Emerson’s legs. He’s far more important to this side than Payet was to the 15/16 side.

The Ben Johnson thing is also part of the problem, a player that wasn’t good enough a few weeks ago is now moyses answer to the problems he’s unable to solve, no matter how well he played!
I bet most managers that are sitting watching this hate campaign that has continued against Moyes as a manager for years, finds it mind blowing to say the least and not many managers will want to step into his shoes once he departs, to pick up the poison chalice now associated with the West Ham managers job.
I remember the strained look on Manuel Pellegrini face for weeks before he was forced out, the poor guy looked a shadow of himself when he first took charge,.
Criticism by the supporters is so easy to them for some unknown reason, they seem to think they can fix any problem just like that, as they are better managers in their own minds after watching only a few games.

This is the Moyse influence you wonder what he is saying in the dressing room because although you say we were playing well we did not have the cutting edge when it comes to scoring. They have a striker we don’t ask yourself what decent striker would come to our club under Moyse Management? Moyse lacks tactical awareness and he is the problem not the players.

we close to 40 points for a while so there is tapering off cos mission achieved to stay in Prem …outclassed man utd at their place again but sunday league finishing cos no real strikers . I felt the same as you Geo but from the start but then thought wow we taking game to them .I know Zouma not up to Prem and predicted 4 nil to manure …but when 2nd flukey goal went in I knew we were beaten cos the finishing was piss poor
bottom line is we conceeded 3 goals …so defensively poor for top 6 ///should be mavrapanos and aguerd cos Zouma cant walk
