The only relationship to the "Mount Playbook" is the reasonableness of the player's salary demands. This current ownership group has a SALARY STRUCTURE. Unfortunately, some of our academy grown players are stuck in the Roman era expectation of salary expectation. If Gallagher is actually demanding $15OK or bust, then like Mount, he will be sold and I will not blame the owners. If Gallagher can earn more elsewhere than at Chelsea, he may leave – again, like Mason Mount, if he so choses and that is OK. We should not be blaming the owners for financial prudence in consideration of FFP compliance purposes.
The current board appreciates technicians in the midfield and I love it. Even westham brave enough to play Paqueta(non defensive ) in the 10 role. We play Gallagher at the 10 for defensive purposes because that’s who Poch(loser mentality) is
This board have lost their mind, and I'm losing confidence in this board. We will never gain leadership in each position like we did with Cech, Terry, Lamps, and Drogba if we focus on mercenaries and kids. I've said a few times, if we want FFP compliance, get rid of Sterling and his massive wages.

Daniel, would you rather pay Benzema 7.5 million in salary for the remainder of the season or buy Callum Wilson for 18 million and then have to pay him for at least 18 months?

Why are people dreaming about signing Osimhen? I was saying from the beginning of those stories that we are not signing Benzema and not signing Osimhen. I was proven right with Benzema already. Forget expensive players. How long will Chelsea fans be treated like block heads believing in everything.
Are we talking about the same article? Because all of this talk based on a very generic article written by Ornstein talking about potential transfers that have been discussed for a while seems like we are getting carried away.
Everyone needs to settle down until these things actually occur.
Also, why do people think that Conor and his team wouldn’t require $150,000/wk?
Apparently he is an angel that will play for Chelsea for free because he loves the club that much. STOP IT! Conor’s camp will look at what other players are making around the league who they consider are at similar talent levels. Then it’s up to the club and his camp to see if they can reach an agreement..
If the club is looking at Tonali getting $120/wk at NUFC, or Ward-Prowse on $120, Szoboszlai on $120 then they might consider $150 to be too high, especially if they believe Carney or eventually Lavia will cause Conor to be more of a role player on this team. We have also seen Pochetino play Palmer as the right midfielder in a 4-3-3 this year as well. So, it’s just not that cut and dry for the club.
For me, he would be worth $110-$120 with incentives for goals. Unfortunately his shooting has declined since coming back from loan. So we need him to start taking some of those chances.
Gallagher out Wharton in is a good decision. He's got great technical ability and composure.

Chelsea have to sell Conor. He's not good enough. Chelsea are proving to be well run right now by refusing to pay that amount, especially after denying the likes of Mount.
Stop talking about transfers. Look at the market 800m last Jan. This Jan less than 50m. Wake up dude.
