Did this? A good goal from a free kick but a shed load of missed passes!
Great player, but of that UTD midfield he was the weakest.
Saying that he played in a a 4 with Keane Scholes and Giggs.
What a player 🔥
Overrated player…
Roberto Carlos + Zidane + ronaldo = 💀💀💀
One good performance against Real Madrid and that's it they got tricked into believing that he was worth all the hype the media made about him
I remember that Cristiano Ronaldo came immediately after Beckhams departure and he did a very good job replacing him, he was so much better than him in almost every possible way.
The difference between really good players and great players is simple. Great players may appear not to do much but, when the moment comes, they pull out miracles. Beckham was a truly great player as were many in this match. Those days are gone.
I'm an American and not a very educated soccer/football fan, but what I watched was a man come on a field where the other team was completely dominating – controlling the ball and the pace of the game – and immediately making things happen for his team. Play after play creating opportunities, slowing and then increasing the pace of play, passing the ball in every direction to every open teammate, keeping the ball on his half of the pitch, delaying when necessary to slow things down, selflessly sharing, taking long shots at the goal which, even when failing, opened up more opportunities for his teammates and moved the play in the right direction. Wow. I hadn't watched Beckham play before. We call athletes like these "playmakers" in American sports. They may not always be the ones who make outrageously flashy and audacious plays, but they have an energy which settles down their fellow players and through a combo of subtle leadership, skilled ball-handling, and smart strategizing have a strong impact on their teams' game. Is that how Beckham was perceived while playing in Britain? For some reason – probably because he is so lionized in America – I wrongly assumed he was a flashy forward, but it turns out that he was a really intelligent and skilled midfielder. I enjoyed watching him play. Masterful.
He was useless, couldn’t string a pass together and never looked short. Long ball merchant at this stage of his career.
You can see why he didn't start.
I like Beckham a lot but he was a 1000 miles from CR and LM’s league.
Jebus what a line up by both teams… good ol times
Flying shoes tragedy
Yeah, I was there – he scored a great free kick and managed to toe the ball into the net even though it was going in anyway.
For the most part though, after he came on, he attempted a multitude of "Hollywood" balls and 99% of them were bad and missed the target, went out of play or were cut out, including several easy ones by the keeper.
IT's not his finest hour at all.
In the title, it says "..Did This".
What exactly?
I saw Ronaldos hatrick
Those matches were free to watch on ITV, not anymore
Ronaldo, the best 9 ever!
The meaning of pressure lol😂
No wonder they booed him months later at Madrid.
Correct decision by fergie to bench him a wonder goal but his game was shot
3:49 Beckham change an owngoal from hierro
so amazing
😂
Love how ferggie looks at the crowd as he comes out – he just loved his job didn't he, what a legend
There were the boys! god what a beautiful time for football!
