      When we had the best defense in the league (Walker, Rose, Alderwiereld and Vertonghen) Eric Dyer was playing in front as the first-line defensive midfielder. We got close but failed at our first attempt in the League and Europe. But then the break up started and different managers ruined key players before Ange restored Spurs to the real Tottenham we know and love. Unfortunately, Eric did not fit the new strategy. That he is gone is a great sadness, but a great move for him and I wish him all the success in Germany that he and HK can generate. I for one would always be glad to see him back at the club, along with a large number of players who have left over the years, but always gave everything they could. Thanks Eric.

      1. Eric Dier is kind of slacking off on defense, just passing the buck to teammates and yelling instructions.

      2. It's like he's treating the ball as a ticking time bomb, passing it to a teammate in a tight spot and sometimes sending his teammate to the hospital.

      3. The team ends up hurting because, instead of tackling, he prefers standing with his arms crossed behind his back, defending with just his eyes.

      4. Occasionally, he ends up giving the opposing team a hand by making inaccurate passes right in front of our own goal.
