Tom is boringly entertaining, I could listen to him all day, bored and still not wanna watch anything else đ
In terms of style, Arteta hasn't implemented anything and I think we play with the handbrake on and until that is gone, we have to keep managing to win matches.
Pepe is fine in particular games. The Burnley game was not one of them. He was too slow and languid in that game and reacted negatively being bullied. He and uba were both bad in that game. He seems to be alright in games against the top teams, where he gets some space and is not kicked around.
Just to clarify Tom, did Per say we aim to make Top 4 in 2 or 3 seasons or CL? They are not the same thing & I, as you know, feel our best path back is through the Europa more so than the PL.
38 games and (historical) minimum of 70pts needed for 4th place
Vs
12 games for Europa

You literally canât give me any 25-26 year old world class strikers. Let alone those we could get at the club. Am I mistaken? Unless youâre only thinking of DCL, who is nowhere near world class
Stop playing Aubameyang. He isn't helping the team for 3 years now. Stop using him and play Lacazette. Otherwise Arteta should leave. He too isn't helping us. You can get the best players without knowing how to use them
Hey Tom i think there's style i think the problem is Execution of that style Burnley game showed it they aren't making the right passes into the final third if you go back to last season when it turned the final third with Saka , esr and odegaard we was lacking in striker because we missed chances now it's the decision making part they need to be better at
I perfectly agree with you about this coach. I don't see that style too. There were no chances created at burnley. The attack wasn't functioning
Disagree about Saka on the left, he played there before an was great, is just out of form atm. Would be good to see him and Pepe swap sides during games, not sure if Arteta would encourage that though
Please no Noa Lang. He is good yes but if we go to Brugge we need to get De Ketelaere!
I do think Martinelli and Balogun should be given a chance, Saka needs a rest for the NLD so I wouldn't risk him in the Wimbledon game at all
Tom, is it unrealistic to think or aim for a top four position this season. ? The ball â˝ď¸ is round and anything can happen. There is many a slip between the cup and the lip. Teams can trip up,look at City as an example.

I'm sorry but if someone comes in for Saka for 100 million and you need money to reinvest then you take it and move on. I know he is a fan favorite but you can do what Liverpool, and Villa did with Grealish and Coutihno
Good stuff as always. Looking forward to the conversation show with Judges.
Yes Tom, and in 3 years, when we are looking back at our achievement in attaining Champions League, we will hopefully remember what a successful process looks like.
As Shakespeare said, âThere are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.â In the whirligig of time teams rise and teams fall. Anything is possible, regardless of probability, in this world. You are a good example. A geography teacher one minute and soon to be a highly noted journalist the next. You may have dreamed of this, but putting your entire energy into it has rewarded you immensely. Arsenal can do it too. They have a goal and âwhere thereâs a will thereâs a wayâ. The old cliches are often based on much experience in this life.
Maybe the reason the lineups were funky for City and Chelsea was because Arteta didnât think we could win those matches and he was putting all his eggs on the following games, where we have a better chance to win.
Absobloodylutely! Bissouma and a world class striker!!!!
Great show Tom
Metersacker also deals with parents of current and prospective recruits. Non-stressful job? You having a laugh
Tom most of these young players have played a great amount of first team Football. Ramsdale, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Ădegaard & Ben White are well travelled for example. Tierney, Lokonga, played first team ball. Too many excuses at this club and that is transmittable to the team.
They needed an experienced elite gaffer to guide this big investments
Tom, the evidence that things will improve and have with Arteta at the helm is definitely not slim. The amount of changes in the squad has been necessary for Arteta to start getting his ideas across. This is very similar to a Guardiola who usually has to bring in players that fit his style. I remember even the struggles he had with the goalkeeping position. Additionally if Arteta is in the mold of Guardiola then he probably has a philosophy of taking care of 2/3 of the pitch and allowing the players to take care of the offensive third with their own creativity and ideas. So when I judge Arteta, I tend to look at the 2/3rds where in the past few games, his new players have done well whiles the 1/3 hasn't capitalized on chances and opportunities.
My take was Arsenal is taking a new approach to run the club, The reguller changes of the coaching staff that most clubs result in to appease the fan base may affect the culture and sustainability of our long-term success. I believe Arteta will get the full support of the club and ownership simply because he has the capacity to grow exponentially as a coach and has the club's best interest at heart. just an opinion.
To be honest Tom, that valuation is about right….. if you look at his goal and assists stats, they're not that good. If you take this into consideration, as a buying club, he's not worth much more. We think about Saka and ESR with our hearts so its an emotional connection with these lads, this is why a lot of Gooners value Saka and ESR more than that.
As for your work rate Tom……. you're doing an amazing job, and the way you are as a person means that you're in demand to go on other shows. Top work mate, well done!!!!!
Saka worth less than Ben White, is this a joke?
