but Australia has become very predictable in style of play, substitutions, and players on the field.

Hope Arnie stays on but he's earned the right to decide. Done a fine job, the World Cup alone where he won 2 group games and were unlucky against Argentina, then a minute away from winning, he can't legislate for poor decisions and sitters. I say that as someone whos not played elite level football,. Everyone makes mistakes, hope Miller recovers, and he will I'm sure, loved Arnie's reply saying he'd put his arm around him.
Same old story for the last 50 years , so many chances and just one goal .Pressure and lack of clinical goal scorers has always been Australia’s Achilles heel

This coach needs to pass on the responsibility to a new caretaker and custodian of Australia's football standing. He is spent and should have called time at the end of the WC. Sometimes you got to know when to fold.
Australia had 3 or 4 clear chances for scoring and incredibly failed. No excuses. Just a bad team.
Australia don't have any top quality strikers. 2nd rated strikers aren't gonna cut it against top quality opposition.

Hey Arnold, thanks, maybe you can now go back and coach the Mariners or Perth Glory? Maybe a Saudi or Qatari team? Thanks for all but perhaps now Football Australia can get a coach with international experience and move the game forwards?
After being around high level soccer for several years the selection process is far from choosing the best players for the job, many underlying factors destroy up and coming players opportunities and are brushes aside for influence and wealth simple really.
the sad reality of Aussie sports history will always repeat in our country.
Bringing on a 3rd centerback last 10mins invited pressure and changed the mindset

Good team bad coach – how many chances has Arnold blown away through bad decisions and defensive play. Did the same thing to the U21 when he was in charge, time for a change.
bottom line is you are useless to much rubbish football and coaching
This game shines a light on Graham Arnold’s managerial brilliance. He’s assembled the squad. You can’t say that his subs didn’t make an impact. Miller was probably the Man of the Match and O’Neill came of the bench and added physicality.
These were game changing moves that Arnold made. Good on him 🙂 No other coach in the world can influence the game with subs like that
