I do hope we get a striker and a midfielder. We can survive one more season with Kepa between the sticks but we cannot spend another season with Havertz as the main goalscorer and Enzo being wasted as a lone 6.
We dont need a Ngolo Kante Analogue. I like Ugarte but i dont think hes what we need for a gew reasons.
1. Isn't aerially dominant, we are very aerially deficient in midfield.
2. Can't sit as a 6 to protect the back 4.
3. Sporting play with 3 CB and Coates steps up alongside him to help while Ugarte roams. Playing lone 6 in a 4 in the prem, might be too much to ask.
4. Can't form Pochettino's favored in game back 3, joining the back 3.

I still think palhina is the ultmimate dm! Lives in the same area as Chelsea! Doesn't have to move. Is tall, great tackles, great aerial, can go down in a back 3 like poch wants (dier position) an isn't to expensive like 35-45 mil. He's in his prime and if we buy Lavia or grow Andrey santos either one of them can take over that position when that time comes!

How many academy players are in man city, man United and even arsenal?..why do people make it look like its new loosing academy players?. How many of these lads are world class?. They have to understand football is also a business adventure. If youre not good, you can't make it. Cfc have the most academy players in their 1st team.. Reece, chalobah, hall, mount, Conor,RLC, Cho, Broja.
Hey Dan its a bank holiday here in the USA too. Yes Manuel Ugarte seems to be a bigger and younger version of Kante. From what I've read he seems to be great investment as a starter for next season. Btw I wanna see Lewis Hall fighting for a spot in the final squad for next season.
