  1. Dier to Bayern is wild. Good luck to him though. Maybe Tuchball will suit him better. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up going back to Sporting as a free agent this summer.

  2. How ungrateful us fans can beโ€ฆ he always gave his all for us โ€ฆ still does but age has caught up to him โ€ฆ he was a beast in his 1st 3 seasons .. a legendary servant to our club

  3. let me tell you something Marko… No one is happier than Eric Dyer about this move, he gets to escape Tottenham, a hole-in-the-ground club, to play for the German champions, he will win trophies every year, something you lot are allergic to by the looks of it. So the only winner here is Eric Dyer, but I'm glad everyone is happy.

  4. Always a yard of the pace heโ€™s positioning on a lot of goals conceded was always just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Good luck Dier.

  5. Stealing a wage? Loads of pro footballers are, but Dier doesn't strike me as one of them. He seems like one of the few who puts ego aside and actually really wants to do well no matter the circumstances, problem is he's not good enough to get Spurs in the mix with Liverpool and Man City. He's slow and needs to anticipate player movement better. Also, he seems too nice as a defender, he should go speak to John Terry ๐Ÿ˜‚. I hope Bayern Munich can help him raise his game. Good luck.

  6. Now we have completly dismantled the so called senior playersโ€™ comittee. Only person in that comittee who deserved a voice was kane. Others were just holding us back.

  7. As a Spurs fan, I find this this attitude to be problematic. The ladโ€™s been serving the club for 9.5 years! Itโ€™s not like he wasnโ€™t training to get playing time, nor did he have attitude issues like Spence or Ndombรฉlรฉ. Heโ€™s gotten old and also doesnโ€™t fit the current system. No way in hell heโ€™s stealing a wage.

  8. Good fortune to him playing for Bayern. He only rose to a 1st team player at Spurs because of the lack of investment in replacing Toby & Jan as centre halfs & as a defensive midfielder couldn't get a game with Dembele & Wanyama keeping him on the bench. He had the tendancy to mentally switch off during games, didn't head well & had the annoying habit of blaming everyone else when he was at fault. Thank you for doing your best & giving all you could but for me he wasn't good enough.

  9. Like Dier's personality, but he's really not very good at all as a CB. He doesnโ€™t tackle or try to win the ball at all. He backs off and backs off and waits hoping the attacker just messes up. He often ball watches as crosses just sail over him and often plays blind passes causing havoc for his team.

  10. They paid millions ๐Ÿ˜‚ it was like 9 men when he played.and he played too much.
Davies was a much better player in any position.
A true liability as well as sanchez and lloris so happy we are improving the squad every window

  11. Always gave 100% but unfortuneately with his lack of pace his positioning at time was woeful. Good passer, good in the air but he was great as a defensive midfielder not a centre half. For his last few years between himself and Lloris it was like Keystone Cops defending. So many self inflicted goals given away by this pair in their last few years but good luck to him at Bayern and thanks for your service, which btw, he was well paid for.

  12. The transfer fee says it all. Dier is a dream for a fan with stockholm syndrome, and there are too many of those at Spurs. The reality is a couple of sandwiches do not make a picnic. And its the same with Dier, turning up for work does not make you suitable for the job. Too many mistakes, not enough forward thinking and a lack of technical ability, herein lies why Dier is not a defender of legendary status, rather forgettable player of a few memorable moments and they ended 7 years ago.

  13. He was never stealing a wage.. He played where he was asked and when..
He was never a CB. His best years were CDM. England included..
He was unfortunate that at his best he was second best to Dembele..
    Good luck Eric. COYS
