Race Five in Jonny Williams’s Ten Favourite WilliamsF1 GPs may surprise you: Williams didn’t win it. Indeed, neither Williams FW12C even finished the race. Yet, for Jonny, the world’s leading authority on his father’s race team, it was a race to remember. Join us, then, as we return to the 1989 Brazilian GP at the Japaregua circuit in Rio. The Patrick Head/Enrique Scalabroni FW12s are now fitted with Renault engines rather than Judds and Thierry Boutsen has joined Riccardo Patrese. And an amazing first corner beckons…

Ditch the dumb annoying music.
Love to see you using your Williams contacts Peter!
Back straight at motorland aragón.
Jonny is definitely a Racer. Wouldn't it be great to see Williams back at the front soon?
Jonny is such a great guy, I can understand why he doesn’t want to be team Principal as he doesn’t have the 100% commitment to WIN. I suppose the all consuming NEED to win is only in a few people (thank goodness), can you imagine a world filled with folks like Dennis. ☹️☹️
I hope the new owners of Williams will allow Jonny to stay with the group, maybe in same position of managing the Museum.
better without the music all the way through. this is great content already.
