  1. Is Nunez going to be the designated penalty taker in Salah's absence? He could do with getting some more straightforward chances to build some confidence.

  2. Hes got more goals and. Assists than Saka and Jesus …yet he seems to be slagged off by all pundits …but heaven forbid we give an Arsenal Spurs Newcastle or Citeh player any criticism …wonder how much money crossing hands for so much BIAS

  3. As Klopp said when we brought him for his potential. He is first player i the league to register 10 goals and 10 assists. Lazy pundits were comparing him to Halland from the off. Firmino wasnt prolific yet we won the major trophies. Nunez does more for the team. Less injury prone aswell. As forr Salah again lazy pundits Before this season when Salah gone AFCON we won 10 games drawn 3! I really do find rhis guy irritating.

  4. The problem with Nunez for the media is they labeled him a flop very early. The problem for them is he is making them eat their words more and more with each passing game. In addition to his 10 goals, he already has 10 assists. He’s on pace to easily surpass 30 G/A contributions, let alone get nearly 40 G/A’s by the end of the season. Nunez is taking off if you actually watch him play.

  5. Janusz sounding pretty basic as a pundit not even noticing the guys overall contribution to the team the last 12 months.. does he even watch the games?

  6. Only rival fans, pundits and media want him to fail. If Klopp believes in Nunez, it's good enough for us Reds fans. Nunez just needs to ignore those naysayers, train hard, be sharp as a knife and shut out those negative noises.

  7. The constant media BS around Nunez is as old and boring as the Trent can't defend comments. FFS, both players have much more to their games than that and both make vital contributions to putting Liverpool in the position they are in now. Klopp knows what he's doing.

  8. This is right, Nunez has to continue scoring. He numbers are awful. 20+ big missed chances and 20+ offside. He has scored in 2 league games since October, thats inexcusable.

  9. He’s scored 10 with 10 assists, first player to achieve those figures this season which shows he’s doing well. He’s still young and raw and does miss some chances, but he’s improving game by game. He’s also playing in a team with several goal scorers and we don’t rely on any one player for goals, but his figures show he contributes a lot to the team.

  10. Both Liverpool and City know they’re the biggest obstacle to either winning the title. We’re in a good position, but still a long way to go and there are no guarantees. Not celebrating anything until I hear the fat lady.
