Turning your back in a boxing ring is a sign of Submission and defeat. Ryan should've been disqualified, but instead somehow Duarte was penalized. Atrocious stuff. And for the fans and commentators to behave as if it was a "shoulder roll" is disgraceful to those who used that method in the past.
What a disappointing performance of Ryan. That is the ugliest fight in his career as a boxer. He did better fighting Tank Davis. He showed his confidence & tried his best. Flinching trying not to get hit is not the same as a good footwork of evading punches. He should study good fighter like Naoya Inoue
