Amazing every single media outlet is doing the VVD thing, he never said he was leaving he was saying he doesent know what the clubs plans are which is a fair assesment.

Of course he will. He is giving the owners a nudge about a new deal. Can't blame him for that. Although I would be gutted if Klopp was leaving as a player.
What I will never understand about Liverpool is why they never invest when they're in a good position or when on top. Look at this season they're top of the league and are in all competitions. It seems that they're more interested in balancing the books, they're not serious in my opinion, all you have to look what who they signed after they won the Champions league and premier league league the season after that.

VVD said something that’s a reality and I don’t understand why the media is putting so much meaning into it. The club will have so much on their hands to deal with and that’s a reality because of what Klopp has done for this club.

This is bullshit reporting clearly for click bait. Virgil spoke calmy and honestly he doesn’t know what the future holds as do any of the players!
Very sad.
This is has been blown out of proportion. Van Dijk has a year and a half left on his contract so is likely in negotiations. Players in this position always remain a bit coy as it puts them in a stronger negotiating position (regardless of manager situation). It's been made out like he has flat out said that if Klopp goes, he goes.
First time I have been disappointed in Virgil, and questioned his integrity. This is a distraction the club didn't need and for him and his agent to create this situation to bolster his contract talks is distasteful
