      Not taking anything away from Embiid but the reason the scores are so high in todays game is bc there is absolutely no defense and a big man can run the game if he don’t care to work and under the rim. The 80’s and 90’s when you watch the all star game each team would score 150 or more. Why? Bc they didn’t play defense in the al star games they just ran n and gun just like in todays game. But during game time in that era you would see around 100 to 120 sometimes unde 100 bc defense

      I hope that KD does some basketball media stuff outside of ESPN. Dude has such a genuine love and respect for the sport and players, feels different from people like SAS and even JJ at times. Honestly though I could see him coaching at literally any level, he just has an innate respect for the game.

      At least Joel dropped 70 and won the game. KD needs to ask 1 of his current teammates who also dropped 70 in Boston and his team still loss the game!

      Stats are all it's about anymore and stats don't matter.

      Actually, it's because defense isn't allowed in the league. You get a foul called if you breathe on the guy going to the rim. Countless times I've seen the "defenders" part like the Red Sea and will move out of the way, leaning backwards with their hands up away from the ball carrier. Disgusting.
