The coach is one of the biggest problems there and all the players he has carried across are now shadows of themselves. Onana isn’t even starting for his national team anymore because of how bad he has been which is shocking while David dega still doesn’t have a job 😮.

sigh I’m disappointed with this video. The analysis, especially on Ten Hag is so surface level. Where do I start:
1) Ten Hag has spent a lot of money at Man Utd, but if you take a look at previous managers and their spend it’s similar. The problem is the recruitment team, that are happy to massively overpay for players when they could have got them for half the price earlier (e.g. Antony was offered at £50m (still too much I know but…) and they ended up paying £85m because they waited too long).
2) De Gea is a great shot stopper but Ten Hag wanted a goalkeeper who could save and start building from the back. De Gea couldn’t do that and so was let go.
3) Man Utd haven’t had their first choice defence pretty much all season. Varane and Martinez have only just come back and they are the only two that can competently play Ten Hag’s system. All season long I have heard Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs etc use injuries as an excuse for poor form. Man Utd have had more first team players out injured for longer times, but that’s apparently not excuse for poor form.
4) the GK position at Man Utd especially is a poisoned position. We know of Schmeichel, Van Der Saar and De Gea being successful, but there were plenty of top class GKs who couldn’t make the position theirs. Barthez, Howard, Bosnich, Romero. I’m sure I’ve missed others.
I’m worried about Onana’s mental strength, but there is a reason why he was a top glass GK for Inter last season. His defenders in front of him need to do a lot better. In the PL the only GKs saving more shots than him play at Burnley, Sheffield Utd, Luton Town, Fulham and West Ham.
