  1. This nonsense about "United fans had never even heard of him before the announcement" is hilarious. Just cos no one had heard of him doesn't mean it's not a major coup and a huge statement from INEOS.

    If you had asked United fans to pick a club to poach a senior exec from to lead a rebuild they would have picked City. They have literally built a club from scratch in a decade with the structure in place for long lasting success. There isn't a better club to poach a senior exec from to lead a rebuild.

    Not knowing his name is irrelevant.
