He performed well for Chelsea and performs well for Belgium. Madrid is simply too big for him.

Real Madrid is always going to have good players fiercely competing for every position. I thought the signing of Eden Hazard would be the beginning of a new era of greatness for the team, the fans and Eden himself. Sadly things turned out badly for everyone and constant injuries can torpedo any footballing career. Many good, talented players are unable to get significant playing time at Madrid, see Isco, Mateo Kovacic, & James Rodriguez. Real’s has quality depth at virtually all positions. As things stand, I definitely prefer Asensio as a sub over Hazard, even Mariano is preferable. I would like Hazard to move on to a new team and a fresh start, even in the January transfer window.
Maybe MLS? Not as demanding as Europe.

I really loved him in London, it's just sad to see such a gifted player not even showing a tenth of what he can be able to in Madrid. Remembering him gliding over the pitch and terrifying PL defenders…… as a football fan, it's a real bummer how it is now. That being said; Mourinho mentioned once that Eden has all the talent but not the right attitude towards the sport. I'm sure he's doing great whatsoever. As a Real Madrid fan, I was so hopeful for old Eden to return after his pre-season. But he didn't performed as the team needed. Rodrygo stepped up more than him in Benzema's absence. He should leave Real to find his old charisma back 🥲

He's a great player years back. During his injury, he should've lost weight to play right back again in form after he got well. BUT sadly that didn't happen. Zidane and Benzema purposely lost weight so even in their 30s they were agile.

A popular opinion in Belgium (in populist media at least) seems to be that he's happy counting his money while doing nothing. I can't believe that. Hazard is a footballer pur sang who just likes to play football. I think he does feel unhappy not getting the game time from Ancelotti he thinks he deserves, but when I saw him playing him with Belgium against Holland, he was absolutely awful. No agility, no strength, no desire, no danger,…based on that performance, one can't disagree with Ancelotti's choices.

I watched real matches always never missed and I can vouch for this that whenever he got a chance on the field he never showed anything apart from flicks and backheels here and there and at real Madrid the amount of pressure to perform consistently and adapt as quickly as possible is immense. They just don't wait for anyone so he can show what he can do in hazard case they have been really patient but he didn't show any sign of massive improvement. Hazard was my favourite I was so happy that he joined us but equally sad that he couldn't help us whenever he got the chance. Not every Englishman succeed in Spain. That's why bale is considered a legend
I would have to agree that he has been out of shape for Real’s standards ever since he started. I remember the media making jokes about the belly he suddenly had and he admitted to overeating as well. I’m sure that mentality as well as obvious injuries for not taking care of himself played a big part. As much as I love Gareth Bale, his was the same issue. He was just not there mentally or physically.

Vini ain’t never gonna be the player Hazard was! Never ever. It’s that Ancelotti who always benches him. He needed time to be on his best but didn’t got any time, one mediocre game and he got benched for Vini. Madrid doesn’t deserve him. Even Benzema knows Hazard is one of the best in the world and respects him. That’s why he gave him a penalty. He played some great games for Madrid but suporters never stood up against Ancelotti’s misbehavior and never cheerd for one of the greatest players ever existed. Soon he will be gone for Madrid and he will be to his best again.
